Η δημοσίευση "Semelka RC, Kelekis NL, Thomasson D, Brown MA, Laub GA. HASTE MR Imaging: Description of Technique and Preliminary Results in the Abdomen. JMRI 1996; 6: 698-699" επιλέχθηκε μετά από κρίση (peer review) της διεθνούς εταιρείας μαγνητικού συντονισμού στη ιατρική ISMRM ως μία από τις 25 καλύτερες της τελευταίας 25ετίας και βραβεύτηκε στο παγκόσμιο συνέδριο του 2016 στη Σιγκαπούρη, ενώ συμπεριλήφθηκε σε ειδικό επετειακό τεύχος του JMRI:
